About Split PDF
Break one PDF into several smaller files: pull out a page range, cut every few pages, or save each page as its own PDF. The file is split locally in your browser.
How to use Split PDF
- Drop the PDF you want to split onto the sheet.
- Choose Range vs the rest, One file per page, or Every N pages, and enter the pages or the number.
- Press Run, then Download the parts, which arrive together in one ZIP when there are several.
Frequently asked questions
- What does Range vs the rest do?
- It makes two files: one with the pages you list, for example 1-3, 7, and one with every page you did not list.
- Does splitting affect quality?
- No. Pages are copied, not re-rendered, so text stays selectable and images keep their original quality.
- Is my file uploaded to a server?
- No. The file is read and processed inside your browser tab, and the result is created on your device. It is kept only in your browser's own storage until you remove it.
