About Extract pages
Save only the pages you need from a long PDF into a new, smaller file. Type page numbers and ranges, and Inkwell copies those pages without touching the original.
How to use Extract pages
- Drop your PDF onto the sheet.
- Type the pages to keep, such as 1-3, 5, 8-9.
- Press Run and download the new PDF with just those pages.
Frequently asked questions
- In what order are the pages saved?
- In their original document order, whatever order you type them in. To rearrange pages, use Organize in the studio.
- Does extracting change my original file?
- No. A new PDF is created and the file you dropped in stays as it was. The copied pages keep their text and image quality.
- Is my file uploaded to a server?
- No. The file is read and processed inside your browser tab, and the result is created on your device. It is kept only in your browser's own storage until you remove it.
