About Excel to PDF
Turn a spreadsheet into a tidy, printable PDF table. Inkwell reads the first sheet of an .xlsx, .xls, or .csv file and typesets it on A4 pages.
How to use Excel to PDF
- Drop an Excel or CSV file onto the sheet.
- Press Run to typeset the first sheet as a table.
- Download the PDF.
Frequently asked questions
- Which sheets are converted?
- Only the first sheet. Move the sheet you need to the front of the workbook, or save it on its own, before converting.
- How does the table look?
- Columns share the width of a portrait A4 page equally, text is set at 8 points, and cells longer than 48 characters are shortened. Charts, colors, and formulas are not included; only cell values are.
- Is my file uploaded to a server?
- No. The file is read and processed inside your browser tab, and the result is created on your device. It is kept only in your browser's own storage until you remove it.
